These terms apply when you book a session with Lisa Bible Balance Body Therapy ("I", "me"). By booking, you agree to them. They are written to be read, so please do.

Sessions and prices

Current session prices are listed on the Services & Pricing page. The price confirmed when you book is the price you pay.

Travel

I come to you. Travel is included within a 30 km radius. A $30 fuel surcharge applies beyond that, and I will tell you when you book if it applies.

Bowen therapy is not veterinary care

Bowen therapy is a complementary therapy. It supports your animal's wellbeing, but it does not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment, and I do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication. If your animal is unwell, lame or injured, please see your veterinarian first. I may ask for your vet's approval before treating, and I may decline or stop a session if I believe your animal needs veterinary attention.

Your animal's health

Before each session, please tell me about any health conditions, injuries, surgery, medications, recent treatments and behaviour I should know about, including any history of kicking, biting or nervousness. It helps me treat your animal safely and well.

Safety during a session

A handler aged 18 or over should be present for the whole session.
Horses should be caught, in a halter and in a safe, level area. Dogs should be on a lead or in a quiet, contained space.
I may pause or end a session if I feel it is unsafe for your animal, for you or for me.

Results

Every animal responds differently. Many owners notice changes after one or two sessions, but I cannot guarantee a particular outcome.

Payment

Payment is due on the day of the session, by cash or bank transfer. I'll give you my bank details when you book.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Life with animals doesn't always go to plan, so I keep this simple. If you need to cancel or move a session, please give me at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may be charged 50% of the session fee.

There's no charge if your animal is unwell or injured (please see your vet), or if the weather makes a session unsafe. I'll always try to reschedule instead.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from a session, except where it is caused by my negligence. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
