Lisa Bible Balance Body Therapy ("I", "me") provides equine and canine Bowen therapy on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why, and what I do with it. I aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect

When you contact me or book a session, I may collect:

your name, phone number, email address and the address where your animal is kept;
details about your animal, such as its name, age, breed, health history, injuries, medications and behaviour;
notes I make during and after each session about your animal's treatment and progress;
your veterinarian's details, if you give them to me.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind, and it loads nothing from third-party services.

When you send the contact form, your name, email, phone number (if given) and message pass through a secure form service run by my web developer, Hinterland Web, which forwards them to my inbox. The form service does not use your details for anything else.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. I do not use these logs to identify you.

How I use your information

to reply to your enquiry and arrange sessions;
to treat your animal safely and keep a record of its care;
to work with your veterinarian, where you ask me to or agree to it;
to send invoices and keep the business records the law requires.

I do not send marketing emails, and I never sell or rent your information.

Who I share it with

I only share your information with your veterinarian or another animal health professional when you agree to it, or when the law requires me to. Otherwise it stays with me.

How I keep it safe

I store your information securely and keep it only as long as I need it for your animal's care or to meet legal and tax requirements. After that I delete or destroy it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the information I hold about you or your animal, or ask me to correct it, at any time. Email l.bible@outlook.com or call 0477 753 615.

Changes to this policy
